Shortly before 9 p.m., the 78-year-old Tyrolean woman was reported missing to the police. An accident could not be ruled out. That is why a search was immediately started, in which several police patrols, fire brigades and private individuals participated.
A drone from the municipality of Schwaz and a people search dog were also used.

Nearly three hours later, there was a deep sigh of relief: the missing person was found by searchers in the vicinity of a postal distribution center.
“The woman was slightly hypothermic. After initial care, she was taken to the Schwaz district hospital for further examination,” the director said.
