The car of a 70-year-old was found locked in a parking lot in Ebensse (Upper Austria). Since then, the woman has shown no signs of life. The son alerted the police. Unfortunately, a large-scale search had to be canceled without success. The police are hoping for information from the public.
A search operation was underway in Ebensee from Monday afternoon until late in the evening for a missing 70-year-old woman from the Gmunden district. The son of the 70-year-old woman reported his mother’s absence to the police. The kidnapper’s car was found in a parking lot.
Search canceled during the night
After the initial search by the local emergency services, a large-scale search was started by the Ebensee volunteer fire brigade, the St. Agatha fire brigade drone and the water rescue service.
Emergency services and two police dogs were also called in. The search was halted around 12:30 p.m. and resumed on Tuesday. However, the second search was also unsuccessful.
Anyone who can provide information or relevant information about the missing person can contact the Bad Ischl police station on 059133/4103.
