A 28-year-old man from Somalia was the victim of a beating near Bludenz train station on Monday evening. Police are now looking for four unknown people – and witnesses to the incident.
On Christmas Eve around 11:30 p.m., the police were informed of a fight at the snack machine on Bludenzer Bahnhofstrasse. It turned out that a Somali man had gotten into an argument with an unknown man who was accompanied by three other men. The verbal argument quickly turned into a fight, during which all four unknown people allegedly punched the 28-year-old. Although the African suffered several injuries and scratches in the attack, he did not want to seek medical attention.
Looking for witnesses
He was only able to describe two of the four attackers: the main perpetrator is said to have blond hair and goes by the name Alex, and he is also expected to be exceptionally short (approximately 1.60 meters). Unlike the second person, who should be about 6 feet tall. Any witnesses are asked to contact the Bludenz police station.
