A day after the Texas massacre, students in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, were again targeted by a gunman. A masked gunman fired at a group of people – including two teenagers – on their way to a ball. Several victims of the wanted perpetrator were seriously injured.
Local media reported that a man in a white mask and black clothing fired the shots from a mountain bike. One of the victims, a 19-year-old, is in critical condition after the attack. The doctors are fighting for his life. The three other people who were shot dead – a 19-year-old woman and her parents – are out of danger.
Woman discovers someone shot in her apartment
Seven other shootings had previously taken place at various locations in Philadelphia, killing at least four people. In one case, an apartment resident found a young man shot in her living room when she returned home. The teenager was beyond saving. He succumbed to his serious injuries in hospital. Investigations are also underway in this case. The shocked resident does not want to know the victim.
