A Russian private plane with six people on board crashed in Afghanistan, Russian emergency services reported on Sunday. However, Afghan authorities say they have located four of the six passengers alive.
“Four occupants, including the pilot, were rescued alive,” Taliban chief spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said in a message on X.
“According to preliminary data, the cause of the accident was the failure of its two engines“, a source from the Russian emergency services told the official Russian agency TASS.
For their part, Afghan authorities reported that a passenger plane had crashed in the northeast of that countrywithout stating the number or nationality of the residents.
