A 41-year-old local guest and a waiter (45), both Turkish citizens, got into an argument with insults at a restaurant in downtown Linz on Monday evening. Then the argument escalated: the guest hit the waiter in the face with a glass at close range.
The result was multiple, deep cuts on the 45-year-old. The rioter himself initially fled.
Arrest or resistance
The detectives were able to track down the criminal: he was arrested without resistance at his home address and taken to the police detention center.
