Seven people were injured during a German carnival parade on Sunday. In Kehl (Baden-Württemberg) a car caught fire and several people jumped from the trailer onto the street.
The fire broke out in the interior of the car, which depicted a ship. Several members of the carnival group from Glottertal jumped into the street to save themselves from the flames. However, according to the police in Offenburg, seven people were injured, including one man seriously. He was taken to a hospital by rescue helicopter.

According to police, the moving van burned down and was taken away. A generator on a trailer that exploded shortly after 3 p.m. was responsible for the fire. The fire brigade was able to quickly extinguish the flames. The parade, which tens of thousands of people had watched from the side of the road, was canceled.
