The sale of these batches of cookies (Cookies Aux Trois Chocolats, Grandino triple chocolate and Nougatelli) has been spread in many autonomous communities of the state, including the CAV.
The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN), dependent on the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, has warned of the possible presence of metal fragments in several batches of chocolate biscuits, in particular the ‘Cookies Aux Trois Chocolats’, of the Arizona brand sold in Aldi, and ‘Grandino triple chocolate’, from the McEnnedy brand, and ‘Nougatelli’, from the Sondey brand, both sold at Lidl.
The AESAN has taken note of a warning message sent by the health authorities of the Netherlands via the European Food Alert Network (RASFF). The distribution companies have removed the products from sale and advise people who have the products in this warning at home not to consume them.
Cookies marketed by ALDI They are ‘Cookies Aux Trois Chocolats’ from Arizona. Appearance in plastic packaging, and the lot concerned is 2334710 with a best before date of 09/11/2024. While that of Lidl They are ‘Nougatelli’ from McEnnedy in plastic packaging with lot number 2059315 and best before date 10/12/2024, and ‘Grandino triple chocolate’ from the Sondey brand in plastic packaging, with lot number 20706999 and best before date 12/12/2024.
According to the available information, initial distribution took place through branches of the ALDI and LIDL chains in the autonomous communities of Andalusia, Catalonia, Canary Islands, Valencian Community, Madrid, Murcia, Galicia and Basque Countryalthough it cannot be ruled out that there may be redistribution to other autonomous communities.
