Asian women stabbed – femicide: Ebadullah only wanted to kill

Date:

Five female victims in one day sue! The global media response to the bloody acts in Vienna has been enormous. Shocking: the knife attack in the erotic club was probably coolly planned.

This confession makes your blood run cold: Ebadullah A. (27), an asylum seeker from Afghanistan, simply wanted to kill. He hates women and voices have told him to kill them. On Friday evening he hid a knife in his jacket, walked into the erotic club Studio on Engerthstrasse in Vienna and did as he was told. Kill! As reported, he coldly slaughtered three women – without regard to any losses.

Two Asian love servants were executed, as was the owner of the establishment. “Normally I see them every day in the morning,” says neighbor Muzaev (32). “But she’s been gone since Friday.” What happened in Vienna in recent days is causing horror worldwide and in the media. Because not only the three women in the sex club were victims of incredible hatred, Claudia R. (51) and her 13-year-old daughter Carmina also had to die. They were strangled and beaten to death with bare fists. Suspect: Christian R. (53), husband and father of the victim. There’s no trace of him.

Ebadullah A., on the other hand, is in custody. He speaks calmly, he doesn’t care – he refuses a lawyer. At the local inspection “Krone” on Sunday, a young woman takes a candle from her bag, squats among the dozens of others in front of the red light bar and lights it. She is a street worker and takes care of the women who need to offer their love services and tries to help them. She looks desperate. In this case she failed.

Victim protection is a priority
In an initial statement, Minister for Women Susanne Raab (ÖVP) was deeply shocked by the tragedies: “Austria now has a well-developed system for protection against violence, but unfortunately this cannot prevent every single case of violence, especially if there is no prior evidence used to be “

In the meantime, the ‘Krone’ carried out a fact check into femicide in the country. In relation to the current tragedies, Internal Investigations and Victim Protection have made it clear that not every femicide should automatically be linked to domestic violence.

The fact is that entry bans (BV) have increased, which can be experienced as positive from an administrative perspective. Because it is precisely in these cases that femicide is only the ‘rule’ in exceptional cases. Of the 26 murders last year, only in one case was an entry ban imposed in advance. Local ‘killers’ usually strike within the family. A look at the long-term statistics from 2010 to 2020 also explains that the number of local male ‘killers’ obviously predominates.

Murder weapon usually stabbing weapon
Statistically speaking, murderers usually use stabbing weapons in family circles. However, it is important to note that the total number of murders per year in Austria is relatively lower than the EU-wide average. In return, experts also see an alarming signal in the enormous number of murders of women and girls, according to a study. In the European average these are decreasing relative to the total population, while in this country they are increasing. However, researchers and politicians are powerless against criminal energy, rampages or even ‘voices in the head’.
