During a priority check by the city of Vienna among the police, the financial police, MA 59 and the AMS, 13 black employees were discovered in a dance hall in Vienna-Floridsdorf. In addition to numerous reports, two people have also been arrested.
City of Vienna officials discovered thirteen black employees in a dance hall in Vienna-Floridsdorf on the night of last Saturday.
This resulted in an equal number of complaints under the General Social Insurance Act and another five complaints under the Unemployment Insurance Act. Two arrests were also made under immigration law and two reports were filed under the Foreign Employment Act.
Seven companies checked
There was another report for unauthorized trading and five reports were sent via municipal department 59 (MA 59 – Market Office).
The police, the financial police, the MA 59 and the Public Employment Service (AMS) were involved in the Floridsdorf focus of the City of Vienna’s operational team led by the Immediate Measures Group. As part of the checks, seven restaurants and nightclubs were checked. According to a city spokesperson, there were no red light bars.
