Vice President of State scolds EU: Why our farmers don’t take to the streets

In view of the protests in other EU countries and in neighboring Germany, the local farmers’ association is now speaking out. “If you want to shut down agricultural production in Europe, you have to produce more and import more elsewhere. “That is not only stupid, but also hypocritical,” says State President Stephan Pernkopf, who sharply criticizes the EU’s “anti-agricultural and environmental” agricultural policy.
