A motorist’s turning maneuver in Götzis (Vorarlberg) went seriously wrong on Tuesday morning: the man had overlooked an oncoming car – first the two vehicles collided, then his car crashed into the glass facade of a craft business.
Around 11:40 a.m., the driver of the car started turning onto a side street from Appenzellerstrasse. He stole the right of way from another road user and a collision occurred. The force of the impact pushed the vehicle that caused the accident against the glass facade of a craft business.
Steering wheel slightly damaged
The driver suffered minor injuries in the accident; he had to be taken to the Hohenems State Hospital. The damage to the two vehicles and the facade is significant.
