The Russian secret service FSB published several videos on Saturday afternoon showing the alleged perpetrators. They are pushed to the ground by the police and interrogated. One of them explains that he was promised a lot of money for the attack.
The suspected murderer answers the question: “What did you do at the Crocus yesterday?” with the words “shooting”, “people” and “for money”. He also said he was contacted via Telegram and promised “about a million rubles” for “killing people.”
The suspect claimed he was influenced by a “preacher” on a Telegram channel.
American terrorism experts suspect the IS branch from Afghanistan, the “Islamic State of Khorasan Province” (ISKP), as the main suspect in the attack. However, there is no evidence for this, writes ‘The Guardian’.
