Sparks flew in a cinematic way between a 33-year-old and a 29-year-old in the Kitzbühel district. Now, during the trial at the regional court, things were more conciliatory because of the mutual attacks.
The couple chatted peacefully in the hallway outside the courtroom on Thursday before the trial began. Months ago it looked completely the opposite: the man allegedly hit his wife with a belt buckle and a vacuum cleaner cord and also threw hot pizza at her.
The woman – the second defendant in the courtroom – was also not inferior to her partner: she hit her husband several times and squeezed his genitals, among other things.
For the judge it was almost marital harmony
During the trial under judge Heide Maria Paul there was no hatred or violence. “We have to deal with it as adults and look to the future,” said the first defendant. And the second defendant also wanted to make peace – partly because of their two children.
We will now “see what happens next,” the 33-year-old explained. In any case, he currently lives separately and the children are also with his wife. But there was already a first rapprochement.
Fines paid from joint account
Since they still have a joint account, they paid the fines (deviation without fine) directly at the regional court, in an almost intimate way. After his outbursts, the man must pay 550 euros, his wife 150 euros.
