Masked and armed, two men stormed a tobacconist in Vienna on Thursday afternoon, demanded cash and fled. A search has so far been unsuccessful.
The two masked perpetrators entered the tobacco shop in Brigittenau with a knife and a gun and threatened the 43-year-old employee. After the two men demanded the money and took it from the cash register, they fled into Denisgasse in the direction of Pappenheimgasse.
Since the immediately started search yielded no results, the police are asking the public for information and describe the perpetrators as follows:

Description of perpetrator 1: approximately 1.70 meters tall, between 20 and 25 years old, slim build, black clothing with black shoes, black hood and black waistcoat, higher, younger voice.
Description of perpetrator 2: approximately 1.70 to 1.75 meters tall, approximately 20 to 25 years old, broadly built, dressed in black, with a black cap, spoke German with an accent.

The extent of the damage caused by the attack is not yet known. The Vienna State Criminal Investigation Department is investigating at full speed. Video footage is currently being evaluated.
