Starting next Monday, Russia will call up 150,000 conscripts for basic military service. Observers fear they are being used specifically to cause bloodshed in Ukraine.
For more than two years, Russia has been waging a brutal war of aggression against its neighbor and is trying to subjugate the Ukrainian people by all means necessary. The losses are enormous on both sides. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky repeatedly accuses Putin of treating his own citizens as “consumables.”
From April 1 to July 15, 150,000 soldiers between the ages of 18 and 30 will be called up to Russia. Head of state and warlord Vladimir Putin signed a corresponding decree and it was made public in Moscow on Sunday:
According to the banned Russian news portal Vyorstka, the Russian Ministry of Defense plans to send another 300,000 troops to the war.
Move forward with pressure and force
In general, such regular meetings take place in Russia twice a year – in spring and autumn. However, observers fear that the young men could be forced to serve at the front.
As is known, Moscow does not value the protection of human rights and does not shy away from cruel methods to achieve its goals.
