Wild alcohol accidents – Lenker (19) crashed into Bach at a speed of more than two per mille

Date:

Last night, a probationary driver’s license holder from Altmünster got behind the wheel of his car, completely drunk (more than two in a thousand) and drove home. That didn’t go well: the vehicle left the road and ended up in a stream. A young alcoholic driver (21) also caused an accident in Laakirchen.

An unprecedented act of stupidity ended in a flood for a young probationary driver’s license holder from Altmünster on Sunday morning in his home community. The 19-year-old got behind the wheel of his car with more than two per mille of alcohol in his blood.

Car tips over
Coming from Neukirchen on the Großalm federal road, he was on his way to Altmünster around 12.40 p.m. At the Pfannstieleck intersection he lost control of his car, collided with a bridge railing and slid along the Ebenbach embankment. Twenty meters further, the car hit a guardrail, overturned and was thrown into the stream.

The 19-year-old was injured in the accident, but was able to free himself from the wreckage. He was admitted to hospital. The heavily damaged car wreck had to be recovered by the fire brigade.

Ended up in a ditch
A 21-year-old from Laakirchen was driving on Sunday morning with an alcohol content of just under one per mille in her blood. In Gschwandt the car left the road and ended up on the side of the ditch.

Thanks to an e-call message, the rescue chain was started automatically. The injured 21-year-old was able to free himself from the wreckage. She received initial care from the Red Cross and was then taken to hospital. Her driver’s license has been confiscated and charges are pending.
