A 47-year-old did absolutely everything wrong while driving. And without a driver’s license, driving the wrong way, on drugs and drunk.
Early on Thursday evening, police officers during a patrol in the area of the A22 in the Kaisermühlen tunnel noticed a driver because of his unsafe driving style. He changed lanes several times without using a turn signal, endangering other road users.
On the ramp to the Brigittenau Bridge, the driver suddenly turned around and continued driving in the opposite direction. The officers immediately arrested him.
It was raining advertisements
When the facts became clear, it turned out that the man, a 47-year-old stateless person, did not have a valid driver’s license. An alcohol test also showed that the blood alcohol level was just under one per mille. The 47-year-old admitted to using addictive substances but refused to undergo a medical examination.
The drunk driver was not allowed to continue driving and several reports of administrative violations were filed.
