On Wednesday morning, masked men stormed a tobacconist in Vienna-Floridsdorf and threatened employees with a weapon. They have been on the run with their loot ever since.
The brutal attack took place at around 9am in a tobacco shop near Franz Polly Park. The armed duo demanded that the employees hand over money and cigarettes. Shortly afterwards they fled. Since then, the alerted police have been searching for the fugitives with a large contingent. However, so far without success.
No injuries
Fortunately, no one was injured in the attack. According to police, the two suspects were dressed in black and entered the tobacconist with a firearm.
Investigators from the State Criminal Police Office, North Branch, requested information about the case on Tuesday at 01-31310-67800.
