This scam by online fraudsters seems new: instead of an alleged meeting with a famous singer, a Tyrolean woman lost about 100,000 euros.
Between October 15, 2023 and April 19, 2024, the Tyrolean from the Hall region was accused on Instagram and other internet platforms of having been personally approached by a well-known Austrian pop singer. The star reportedly wanted to connect with his fans personally.
Supposedly meet and greet
The woman fell for it and was subsequently offered a meet & greet with the singer, which she was also interested in. But in the end everything turned out differently for the Tyrolean.
The crooks falsified various facts and allowed the woman to make no fewer than ten transfers. In total, around 100,000 euros fell into the hands of the fraudsters. The money seems to have been lost for the Tyrolean.
