After a 36-year-old man allegedly stabbed his brother in the neck on Saturday in Angerberg (Kufstein district), the motive for the crime remains unclear. However, it is now known how seriously the Slovak may have injured his brother.
According to police, the 36-year-old attacked his older brother with a pocket knife. He grabbed the victim in the neck – according to the investigators, the wound is about ten centimeters long and 1.5 centimeters deep. The 37-year-old had to undergo surgery and was admitted to hospital in Kufstein, but according to the National Criminal Investigation Department, his life was not in danger.
The 36-year-old could not name a motive
The alleged perpetrator fled after the attack, but was arrested by the police shortly afterwards. The interrogation took place on Sunday with an interpreter, but the suspect could not name a motive for the attack. He was then taken to the detention center.
