A police officer (57) died on Saturday morning after an argument in a garden in Thuringia. The cause of death was a mystery. The autopsy results are now available.
What happened: According to initial investigations, 18-year-old Tobias Z. broke into an apartment building in Bad Frankenhausen on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. The residents of the five-storey building heard suspicious noises and alerted the police.
According to the police, the 18-year-old German showed resistance towards the officers and rescuers during the operation. He kicked and punched around, also hitting 57-year-old Kai M. He then complained of not feeling well, which was “getting worse and worse”. He collapsed and died shortly afterwards.
Evidence of previous illnesses
It has now become known that there is no evidence that the death was caused by outside influences. According to Bild, no head injuries were found. However, there is evidence of earlier diseases that require further investigation.
