A fire at the Isosport company caused a large fire brigade in Eisenstadt on Friday.
The sound of sirens could be heard throughout the capital on Friday afternoon and several fire engines drove through the city towards Industriestrasse with flashing lights. The location for the alerted troops was the plastics company Isosport, where a fire had occurred. The column of smoke could be seen far beyond Eisenstadt. Because this was an extensive operation, the emergency services were immediately raised to the highest alarm level. But this was mainly a precaution. According to the Eisenstadt city fire brigade, the fire itself was confined to a production area. The employees were evacuated from the building.
