The 28-year-old was driving her car on the St. Paul state road from St. Andrä towards Lavamünd around 12.55 pm when her eyes closed from exhaustion near Legerbuch.

“According to her own statements, she briefly fell asleep and drove off the right side of the road. After about 200 meters, the driver crashed into the dike of an adjacent stream,” police said.
The Lavamünd woman and her two children, aged four and eight, who were in the car, were injured to an unspecified degree. All three had to be taken to the LKH Wolfsberg.
