Large machines in operation will be the star of this 32nd edition of the International Machine Tool Biennial, which will occupy the six pavilions of the Bilbao Exhibition Center from June 3 to 7.
1558 exhibiting companies by 29 countries will turn out, by more than 3500 products and services, the most innovative technology at the 32nd edition of the BIEMH, a leading international exhibition in the field of advanced manufacturing, which will take place until Friday at the BEC in Barakaldo (Bizkaia), and the big machines in operation as the main character.
BIEMH has recorded professional visitors from 75 major countries, including notable countries US, France, Germany, Italy, UK, Portugal, Turkey, Canada, India, China and Mexicowhich will host more than 70 Mexican purchasing companies from the automotive, aerospace, household appliances, mold making and distribution sectors at the fair.

In this sense, he emphasized that the Basque Government’s commitment is to “continue to support the investment, innovation, training or internationalization processes that allow the entire sector to gain competitiveness.”
“We are confident that this biennial will bring strength and opportunities to this sector, which is at the heart of our industry,” he added.
The event includes companies from the production and distribution of starting and forming machines (35%), Robotics and automation (20%), Tools and accessories (12%), Digitalization applied to industry (9%), Mechanical components (9% ), Manufacturing and business services (6%), Additive and 3D manufacturing (5%) and Metrology (4%).
In addition, this year, as a novelty, there is a differentiated space for it robotics, automation and digitalizationas well as the Robot Demo area, where leading companies will show Cartesian, articulated, industrial robots, cobots, autonomous robots and AMRs in action.
The sector faces this event beyond 2023, with sales in advanced manufacturing and machine tool technologies growing by 22.6% (2,157.3 million) and exports by 21.8% in 2023, reaching the highest figures in were history.
Through conferences, keynotes, workshops and roundtables, the BIEMH Talks will explore the current situation and future projections of the industry.
