Rebellious France, the Socialist Party, environmentalists and the Communist Party have managed to bring their positions closer together in record time.
The main parties of the political left in France have finally agreed to form an alliance to face the rise of the far right and also dethrone Macronism in the next parliamentary elections, scheduled for June 30 and July 7.
For example, La Francia Insumisa, the Socialist Party, the environmentalists and the Communist Party have managed to bring positions closer together in record time, after announcing their intention to form a “new Popular Front” at the beginning of this week.
“With a government program and unique candidacies in the constituencies of France, the political forces that formed the new Popular Front will meet the French on June 30 and July 7,” according to a statement released by the Socialist Party on your social media profile.
The aim of this alliance is “to implement a program of social and ecological ruptures to build an alternative to Macron and combat the racist project of the far right.”
