Date:

A smoking Stein inmate (29) set fire to his mattress with a lighter. He had to be taken to hospital with injuries, his motive is still unclear.

Fire operation in the notorious Krems-Stein prison in Lower Austria: Tuesday afternoon a fire broke out in the cell of a Romanian prisoner (29). The detainee himself had diligently helped with this. The man had leaned his mattress against the front door of his cell and then set it on fire.
