An unusual chase took place in Salzburg-Itzling on Wednesday evening! After a cyclist fell due to the driving maneuvers of a car, he chased the fleeing driver.
Around 5 p.m., the 38-year-old drove out of the city at Mayburger-Kai on the Salzach in Salzburg-Itzling. A car turned onto the quay from the right and took priority, causing the cyclist to fall. Shocked, the man got back on his bike and tried to overtake the car to confront the driver.
He didn’t succeed. When he got home, he discovered injuries and called emergency services. The police then recorded the accident and it turned out that the cyclist himself had 0.86 per mille of alcohol in his blood. That’s why it’s shown.
