Unusual mission that fortunately ended well: In Ennsdorf, two young people were stuck in the mud of a spilled riverbed and could not free themselves. The fire brigade rescued the two teenagers – and urges caution in the area.
Human rescue in Ennsdorf! As is known by now, two young people got stuck in the mud of a spilled riverbed in the Enns on Tuesday afternoon. They could not free themselves; they had already sunk too deep.
The alerted fire brigade managed to rescue the two teenagers from their precarious situation and – fortunately unharmed – hand them over to the rescue team for inspection.
“Please be careful!”
The background to the accident is probably maintenance work at the Enns power plant. This reduces traffic jams and improves access to the riverbanks, reports “ORF NÖ”.
The Ennsdorf volunteer fire brigade warns in its operational report: “Be careful when entering the entire area along the Enns!”
