Herrl didn’t respond – off leash: dog bit senior twice in the leg

Police in the Tyrolean Stubai Valley are currently looking for witnesses who saw an 83-year-old being bitten by a dog. The man suffered a bloody laceration to his leg.

The Austrian went for a walk around 10:00 on Sunday in a forest in the Kampl district of Neustift. As the 83-year-old left the forest path and entered the Höhlebachweg, a man with a small black-and-grey dog ​​approached him. The animal was not on a leash and ran towards the walker. He then bit him twice in the left lower leg, causing the senior to suffer heavily bleeding flesh wounds on the outside of the lower leg.

Dog owner did not react after being bitten
The dog owner did not comment on the incident, police said. The man is around 50 years old, 1.75 meters tall and was wearing a green T-shirt.
