For unknown reasons, a Dutchman’s car left the road in Zederhaus (Salzburg) on Friday morning. The vehicle then overturned and became trapped. The driver and his partner were able to free themselves.
At around 7:20 a.m., a Dutch man and his girlfriend were driving south from Salzburg on the A10 Tauern motorway. Shortly after the exit of the Krottendorf petrol station in the municipality of Zederhaus, the car left the road in a left bend. The vehicle overturned and became trapped between the noise barrier and the crash barrier.
Witnesses helped
The couple from the Benelux were able to free themselves from the car with the help of witnesses. After treatment by the emergency doctor, they were taken to the Tamsweg hospital with injuries of unknown nature. The Tauern motorway was closed at the scene of the accident for about an hour. An alcohol test on the driver of the vehicle was negative.
