A knife attack took place in the schoolyard of a community college in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein. A teacher was seriously injured.
Two students are said to have stabbed the teacher and the suspected perpetrators are on the run. The police arrived with a large contingent of emergency services.
Victim injured in neck and upper body
The victim suffered injuries to the upper body and neck; police could not say at this time whether his life was in danger.
As “Bild” reported, the teacher was able to escape to school with serious injuries. An emergency doctor was called to treat the man and he was then taken to a hospital. Several other school employees were also evacuated.
The school and the surrounding area have been cordoned off and the police are investigating. The background to the crime is currently unclear.
