Police are looking for several youths who attacked and chased a 28-year-old with a broken glass bottle in Vienna-Floridsdorf on Sunday evening. The chase ended abruptly when the 28-year-old ran in front of a car and was hit by it.
The reason for the attack is unknown. According to the police, passers-by became aware of the bleeding man’s escape and the subsequent accident and alerted emergency services.
The victim has not yet been questioned
The seriously injured victim first received emergency medical care from the Vienna Professional Rescue Service before being taken to hospital. The Vienna police are looking for the attackers.
They must be between 16 and 18 years old. The victim has not yet been questioned.
