Who does something like that? Unknown perpetrators are said to have loosened the wheel nuts of a horse trailer in the Tyrolean Oberland. When the owner wanted to drive into the valley with a towing vehicle and trailer, the tires suddenly came off. Fortunately, no one was injured.
The dangerous incident had already occurred on Sunday in Haiming (Imst district). The 44-year-old local resident told the police that she had parked the horse trailer and the towing vehicle in the parking lot at Haiminger Sattele (Haiminger Berg) around 9:30 a.m.
The trailer started to wobble
As she drove back into the valley in the afternoon, around 4:30 p.m., she noticed that the trailer suddenly started to wobble.
The woman then wanted to stop the trailer immediately – but then both wheels on the right side would have come loose. “When she checked the left wheels of the trailer, she eventually discovered that the screws were loose,” the police report.
Potential witnesses must come forward
The trailer sustained damage of several thousand euros. The driver escaped with a fright and was unharmed. There is no trace of the perpetrators. Possible witnesses must come forward.
