Of the total purchase and sale transactions registered in June in Álava, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa, 1,468 took place on freehold properties and 214 on officially protected properties.
The purchase and sale of homes in the BAC has descended a 9.6% in June compared to the same month of the previous year, according to data published by the National Institute of Statistics (INE).
Compared to the previous month, May, home sales also fell in Araba, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa, with a 7.2% drop in the monthly rate.
Of the total purchase and sale transactions registered in the autonomous community in June, 1468 were carried out on free houses and 214 on officially protected properties.
Based on the age of the properties, 306 transfers related to new-build homes and 1,376 to second hand homes.
In total, 3,044 housing transactions were carried out in June. In addition to the 1,682 sales and purchases, 885 were transferred via inheritance, 32 via gifts and none via exchange.
