Late Saturday afternoon, a car accident occurred in Pertisau on Lake Achensee in Tyrol (Schwaz district): Two people were injured in the accident – one person had to be taken to hospital by ambulance.
According to the police, the accident happened around 5:00 p.m. On Karwendelstrasse in Pertisau, a 62-year-old local man crashed into a German car for unknown reasons.
Local rescued to hospital
The Austrian suffered significant injuries from the force of the impact. After receiving first aid at the scene of the accident, he was taken by ambulance to the Schwaz district hospital, according to police.
A 47-year-old passenger of the German driver was slightly injured. There was extensive damage to both cars.
