Visiting your in-laws or your boss is not welcome in Austria. This is the conclusion of a survey by ImmoScout24.at, in which around 500 people aged 18 and over participated.
Only three percent of respondents would be happy with a visit from superiors within their own four walls. Parents-in-law do relatively better with 16 percent. After all, more than one in two would be happy with a visit from their own mother, four in ten respondents would be happy with a visit from their father.
Children are more popular than four-legged friends
In general, your own four walls are reserved for only a few people. With friends, the joy is greatest. Seven out of ten respondents like to receive people from their circle of friends, women with 75 percent prefer to receive slightly more than men with 66 percent.
According to the survey, those who want to bring their belongings are advised to come with children rather than dogs. Four in ten respondents welcome guests with children, while only one in three people welcome dogs.
