A family on holiday got a fright on Wednesday during a trip in Tyrol’s Paznauntal. While riding a mountain cart, a 25-year-old came off a mountain path. His five-year-old daughter was on board.
The 25-year-old Israeli rented a mountain cart at the Zeinisbahn mountain station in See on Wednesday afternoon. According to the police, he probably took his five-year-old daughter on his lap and then drove towards the valley.
However, the man did not get far. For reasons still unknown, he strayed from the alpine path and fell eight meters down a steep slope together with the five-year-old. The girl suffered serious injuries in the accident. She had to be taken to the clinic in Innsbruck by rescue helicopter.
