A murder suspect fell at the feet of US police during a house search. The 20-year-old’s hideout apparently couldn’t support his weight.
The search for Deario Wilkerson (20) began in April 2024 after he was targeted by investigators in connection with a fatal shooting in Memphis, Tennessee. During the altercation, a 27-year-old was shot and another woman was seriously injured. The alleged shooter’s accomplices were arrested in May, but the prime suspect initially remained untraceable.

Only now, after intensive investigation, did the trail lead the police to a house in Memphis. After the search, the officers were about to leave when Wilkerson suddenly fell at their feet in the kitchen.
He had hidden above, but the fragile ceiling in the simply built house was his undoing. So the handcuffs finally clicked.
