A fatal traffic accident occurred in Unterauersbach (Southeast Styria district) on Sunday afternoon: two young adults crashed their car into a bridgehead and sustained unknown injuries. How this happened is not yet clear.
It was around 4:00 p.m. when an 18-year-old was driving with her 16-year-old passenger on the L 279 towards Unterauersbach. For reasons that are still unclear, the driver of the car left the road. The road was probably paved and covered with gravel.
Happily tied up
The two occupants collided head-on with a bridgehead. The young adults were injured and the car was significantly damaged. She was taken to hospital with injuries of unknown nature. Fortunately, both were probably wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.
