Horrible accident Saturday night on Kühtaistraße in the municipality of Kühtai in Tyrol: a 29-year-old Austrian drove his vehicle over the side of the road and overturned. He later died at the accident site. His two passengers (aged 28 and 29) were injured.
At about 12:25 p.m., the man was on his way to Kühtai after visiting a restaurant. For reasons unknown, the vehicle hit the side of the road in a slight right turn and overturned. The vehicle eventually came to a stop on its wheels in a ditch.
Driver was fatally injured
The driver died at the accident site. The other two occupants were taken to the Innsbruck and Zams clinics with unknown injuries, police said. Both were reachable at the scene of the accident. The vehicle was a total loss.
