Mare “Moonlight” was seriously injured by a ruthless animal tormentor. The shocked owner from the south of Burgenland now praises the management and hopes that her darling will be completely healthy again.
Krone” readers know the history: While animal lover Tamara P. was sleeping peacefully in her bed, an unknown person broke into the property in Rauchwart and attacked her beloved mare “Moonlight” in the stable with a sharp object. P. found the next morning the four-legged friend was lying on the floor in his own blood and immediately called a vet, he found a stab wound in the genital area.
P. warned the police and is full of praise for the officers of the Stegersbach post: “The officers were very sensitive and conscientious. I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart for that.”
Injury extends to the bone
The stab wound is now known to have severed all of the animal’s flesh and muscle tissue, down to the pelvic bone. The ruthless animal executioner must have stabbed the defenseless horse with extreme force, suggesting the culprit by the sheer force required.
On Sunday, P. visited her four-legged friend at the veterinary clinic, where the mare is recovering from her injuries. She urges all pet owners to be vigilant.
