The Israeli army bombs the center of Beirut for the first time

The airstrike on the Cola district of the Lebanese capital has caused the deaths of at least three leaders of the Popular Front of Palestine. Following the attacks in recent days, there are already more than a million displaced people in Lebanon, according to the country’s prime minister.

For the first time since the start of the Israeli offensive against Lebanon, the Israeli army bombed the heart of Beirutinstead of the southern suburbs, a stronghold of the Lebanese Shia party militia Hezbollah. The Israeli army, for its part, has not commented on the case, although the Lebanese news agency NNA has stated that an Israeli drone struck the fifth floor of a building in the Kola district.

According to the Lebanese Minister of Health, more than a hundred people were killed during the Israeli bombing of Lebanon during the day on Sunday.

Similarly, around a million people have left their homes in Lebanon in recent days as a result of Israel’s campaign of attacks against the south and east of the country and the outskirts of Beirut, as announced by Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati.
