Brutal attack on two men on holiday in Munich. The two Austrians were punched and kicked to the ground by a group of youths. The banal reason for the outbreak of violence is said to have been cigarettes.
As Munich police revealed, the incident took place on September 20. Around 11:30 p.m., two men from Austria (58 and 62 years old) were standing on the sidewalk to their hotel in Giesing when a group of young people approached the two men from behind. They asked if the duo could give them a cigarette.
Kicked victims lying on the ground
The two Austrians said no, after which two youths hit the 58-year-old in the face with their fists. The 62-year-old was also attacked and beaten by two other youths.
When both victims fell to the ground, the suspects kicked the men and fled. Both men had to be taken to hospital, but the investigation is still ongoing.
