On Monday morning, a minivan carrying six passengers left the road in Feldbach (Styria) and ended up in a ditch. Several people were injured.
The accident happened near the level crossing on the L221. For unknown reasons, the driver from Raabau left his vehicle on the shoulder, slid into the ditch and eventually crashed into a stone wall. Some passengers were injured to an unknown degree.
Three people captured
A large contingent of emergency services was on site. Firefighters had to rescue the driver with a backboard and two other people had to be freed from the wreckage. A total of four fire engines with 13 fire brigades, the Red Cross, the emergency doctor and the police were in action.
