Call from the director – circus tent stolen: donations must save the season

Date:

There has also been no trace of the stolen circus tent from Circus Minelly in Styria since mid-October. The director fights to survive.

Hannes Pagger has tried everything, even offered a finder’s fee, but his West Styrian circus is still without a tent. In mid-October – the ringmaster was on holiday – the ‘heart’ of his company and the trailer were stolen from a parking lot. Total value according to Pagger: approximately 40,000 euros.

Financing and delivery times are a headache
Weeks later, the police are still in the dark and the clock is ticking for the director. There is no circus without a tent, the next season must be planned slowly.

Pagger is now asking the local population to support his institution, which he says has been offering circus air as a holiday program to more than 200 children during the summer months for three years. Donations will be used to purchase a new tent and trailer “to save the kids’ summer,” Pagger says. The delivery times and approval periods are at least six months, so haste is required.

All information about the fundraising campaign can be found on the Circus Minelly homepage.
