Accident drama in Styria: An eleven-year-old boy fell with a quad on Saturday in Sölk (Liezen district) and died.
The eleven-year-old drove uphill in his four-wheeled vehicle on a gently sloping, snow-covered meadow on his parents’ farm. When he wanted to turn at the end of the meadow, he ended up on a steep dike, the police announced on Saturday afternoon.
Accident victims found by parents and brother
Suddenly the vehicle overturned. The boy was thrown from the cab and hit by the quad. The parents and his brother found the 11-year-old and alerted the rescue.
However, all attempts by the emergency physician to save the child were unsuccessful. He died at the scene of the accident.
