Photos were taken, Linzer cakes were distributed to the airline crew – on Friday, Ryanair celebrated the restart of London flights, which have been departing twice a week from Upper Austria since October 28, at Hörsching Airport. And from April the offer will be expanded – this time it goes to more southern regions.
“Ryanair is committed to expanding tourism, local employment and connections in Upper Austria and offering a low-cost alternative to expensive airlines,” said Andreas Gruber, Managing Director of Laudamotion, on the occasion of the resumption of London flights from Hörsching by the Irish airline.
Return after six years
Ryanair has been flying twice a week from Linz to London-Stansted and back since October 28 – a comeback after six years! And it is already clear: the relationship between Upper Austria and the airline will become even more intense. Regular flights to Bari and Alicante will also be launched from April 2025 – twice a week.
First flights on April 1 and 4
On Tuesday April 1, Ryanair will depart for the first time to Alicante and therefore to the Spanish Costa Blanca. The Bari connection will start on April 4: according to the airline’s website, it will go to the capital of the Italian region of Apulia on Mondays and Fridays.
