5,310 companies (9.3% of the business group) have received a message stating that they must report any differences between contractual hours and actual hours worked and submit the corresponding settlements to social security.
The labor inspectorate of the autonomous community of Euskadi discovered this possible irregularities in 10,331 part-time appointments so far this year and have sent letters reporting these signs of fraud to 5,310 companies.
They warn them that, in the event that the partisanship coefficients reported to the General Treasury of Social Security do not adapt to reality, they communicate variations according to the actual day worked from the date the imbalance was confirmed.
Likewise, they are informed that they must do so entering settlements in addition to social security for premium differences arising from the period in which these imbalances occurred.
If the regularization of working hours and contributions does not take place, the companies will be informed They will be subject to an evaluation and, if necessary, corresponding action. inspector by the respective Territorial Labor Inspectorate.
Per area, 869 of the companies that received these inspection notices come from Alava. In this area, possible fraud has been discovered in 1,782 contracts. In Bizkaia, notices have been sent to 2,833 companies, referring to 5,956 contracts. Finally, 1,608 and 2,593 contracts with possible fraud were discovered in Gipuzkoa among the companies that received these letters.
Adding all this, 9.3% of all companies of the community with active personnel is suspected of some irregularity.
The irregularities were discovered through the Anti-Fraud Tool, in which the state labor inspectorates and the CAV work together, as explained by the Ministry of Economy, Labor and Employment of the Basque Government.
