Krone+ visited expert Stefan Riedler, who built a true pinball mecca in Vöcklabruck, is experiencing a revival of the colorful boxes and is even looking forward to a home European Championship.
It lights up and flashes in all colors, it rustles, tinkles and trumpets. Pinball is more than pressing two buttons with your index fingers and keeping a ball in play. Pinball means action, means using your whole body, getting excited, hitting or missing targets cleanly, cheering or being annoyed, often getting lucky or failing miserably.
